Lasso Witch

GMTK 2025 Entry - Lasso Witch

A challenging 'foddian' platformer where you must do your best to ascend a tower using a magic lasso and boulders.

Controls:

A D - Movement

W or Space - Jump, can be used while grappling for a boost

Hold Left Mouse - Lasso (when in range of a loop)

Right click - Press to aim, release to Launch boulder

Escape or Tilde - open the pause menu, which allows you to enable assist mode

If Assist mode is enabled:

G - place a warp point

R - teleport to the warp point

All game assets were created by me during the jam time using the following tools:

1. Aseprite (art)
2. BFXR (sound effects)
3. UltraBox (music)
